The VIU Mariners Hockey Club is proud to announce Gord Nowicki as our President moving forward. Gord has been a large figure in the local community both on and off the ice for years. He brings connections from all around Nanaimo and we are thrilled to have him on board.

On the new role, Gord says "(I'm) thankful for the opportunity to help build and guide this great organization. I'm excited to work with VIU to further establish and promote this highly skilled level of hockey within our community".
